I am amazed at the quality and robustness of this kit. I installed it and my saw has never ran better. I did add a small 3/16 hole to the muffler which added noticeable torque when pulling the chain thru wood. As for the quality of the kit? Let me say this, I lost my crank bearings and they pumped out thru the exhaust. That seized the rings in the piston because the bearings dented the top of the piston seizing the rings. I worked the rings out of the piston grooves then sanded the ring groove in the piston to restore the piston ring clearance. The piston had only minor scuff marks at the base of the skirt and the cylinder was not damaged. I reassembled the saw with new bearings and now on my second year with no issue. I think its safe to say it is a quality kit. The power output is better than other big bore kits I have tried. It rips thru all woods hard or soft.
