Meteor brand Nikasil plated cylinder assembly. Made in Italy.
Highest quality aftermarket kit. This is the closest to OEM you will find.
Fits: Stihl 044, MS440 chainsaw
Includes: cylinder, piston, rings, wrist pin, cir clips. 50mm bore with 10mm pin.
Replaces OEM part: 1128 020 1227
*Older 044 chainsaws made before serial number X29 382 283 have a 10mm wrist pin. There are a few rare chainsaws that are after that serial number that also have a 10mm wrist pin. Please verify your pin size before ordering.

Ordered a cylinder and piston rebuild kit for my 044, 10mm pin.
Kit did not contain head gasket, nor did it contain the plug necessary for the compression release as my original didn’t have decomp.release.
Description also gives no warning that plug MAY be needed and new gasket needs to be purchased separately.
Would have purchased a different kit had I known I’d be buying extra parts to get it done.
