Hyway brand aftermarket Stihl piston kit assembly.
Fits: Stihl 044*, MS440 chainsaw with 12mm pin.
Replaces OEM part: 1128 030 2015 - 50mm.
*Older 044 chainsaws made before serial number X29 382 283 have a 10mm wrist pin. There are a few rare chainsaws that are after that serial number that also have a 10mm wrist pin. Please verify your pin size before ordering.

Seems to be of decent quality and though i haven't used this piston yet, i have rebuilt several saws using hyway pistons because of the customer wanting to cut cost on repair. I have yet to have one fail.

I ordered the kit without taking the motor apart and when I disassembled the motor I found I had the wrong wrist pin size. I contacted HL and the correct piston was sent. I installed it today and it fired up like a new saw. The quality looks good and the tolerances look to be very good. We don't do a lot of small engine work, but when we do, HL will be our go to supplier. I appreciate the no fault attitude of the guy I spoke to on the phone. No blame, we'll just help you get it right. Very refreshing.
