New Engine for my Stihl MS290!!!! WHOO HOO! Very fash shipping! Got to me faster than the estimated shipping! The parts were very well packaged, and assembled even better. Would definitely recommend this product and this company.

Purchased new engine to rebuild my Stihl 029. First engine lasted about 4 tanks of fuel and started to make a clanking sound. I contacted HL Supply and they sent out a replacement. I tore down the saw again and rebuilt the engine yet again. This one lasted about 8 tanks of fuel. Contacted HL Supply and sent a picture of the heavily scored piston. Guess I am SOL. I will purchase another engine from a quality supplier. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. These folks are selling an inferior product.

I have not yet completed installation of the new engine. The supplied mounting bolts are a good thing since they are  smaller than the original.
