I ordered this cylinder kit to rebuild my Husqvarna 268. All the parts fit. There were three problems. I was told that the cylinder has a port for a decompression valve, and it does not. So, I bought one for nothing. The other two problems were related. The screw holes on the intake and exhaust ports were only partially threaded. I had to tap the threads so I could mount the carburetor and muffler. The engine cranked and ran fine. I have only run the engine for a bout 30 minutes and so far it is running well. The compression is not as good as I thought it would be. Hopefully it will increase as the engine breaks in.
