new 47mm cylinder works in my saw October 10, 2019 Reviewer: Glen Patana from Holly Springs, NC United States   The crankcase bolts broke off in a brand new cylinder(cheap bolts) so instead of sending me a new cylinder with a good set of bolts, I had to purchase a new cylinder and purchased bolts from Stihl because I didn't trust the the bolts from HL Supply.  Bottom line, the bolts should have never broke? OK but 3 small proplems March 1, 2018 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from OR United States   Out of box there were 2 issues that had to be addressed and 1 that was due to the wrong information given in the "Description". First the grounding wire attach hole is tapped to a different pitch than OEM, easy fix but your out .25 cents on new hardware. Second the exhaust port was not flat/square so hi-temp sealant was needed to make sure exhaust would seal properly to muffler. Lastly, the "Description" states that it "Has hole for decompression valve", it does not and so I ordered 1 plug that was not needed. The fit & finish seems OK but will need to be ran for a season to judge & rate it fairly. Was this review helpful to you?

Lasted 5 minutes March 6, 2015 Reviewer: Joseph Fairfax from Fairfax, VA United States   I had an expensive chainsaw with a scorched piston/cylinder. The Stihl dealership wanted as much as a new saw to repair it. This kit got my saw back up and working for a fraction of the cost. Was this review helpful to you?
