Questionable Quality w/ update on 4/23/20 April 23, 2020 Reviewer: Robert H from Columbus, OH   I'm not sure about all of the 5 star ratings for this kit. I can confirm that the transfer port will  rub the flywheel, I chose to machine the flywheel down a little for the needed clearance. My main issue was with all of the tapped holes in the cylinder. The decompression button, spark plug, anti vibe mount, and 1 muffler bolt would not thread in without being cleaned up with a tap. Everything else fit and worked well, but buyer beware!  UPDATE! I had one of the wrist pin cir clips fail when an "ear" broke off and scored the piston and cylinder. I had fewer than 12 tanks of gas through it at the time and it was just starting to run really well, developing more power than it ever did with the stock jug on it. I contacted HL Supply, and after a little back and forth they sent me out a new kit as a replacement. Thanks to the team in customer service for taking care of my claim! Quality September 23, 2019 Reviewer: Seth Kennedy from BEAUMONT, TX United States   Cylinder and piston was of good quality and did not see any visible defects when assembling. I did have to shave down the side of the cylinder to allow it to clear the flywheel though. Would have been a bigger issue without a Dremel. The e clips for the piston were impossible to get in and larger than OEM. Had to reuse the OEM e clips. The air filter did not fit my saw and so it is pretty useless. Was this review helpful to you?
