Good quality mask from Lanshan Shendun Technology |

I wanted a mask for personal protection from coronavirus in a non-medical setting (not wanting to take masks away from hospitals). This is the Lanshan Shendun KN95-01, which just barely failed the FDA test for filtering out 95% of tiny particles (it filtered 94.91%).
The fit is pretty good. I felt like my inhalations were going through the mask itself and not through the sides. My exhalations went partly through the mask and partly up around my nose.
It does restrict your airflow somewhat. I was a little short of breath after riding a bike with the mask on. Walking with it on was no problem.
I would recommend this for anyone who needs to be in (non-medical) close contact with people in areas where covid-19 is present. From the FDA data and my experience with the fit and airflow, it should provide some protection and would protect those around you if you are infectious.
