Replaces OEM part: 1128 030 2015
*Older 044 chainsaws made before serial number X29 382 283 have a 10mm wrist pin. There are a few rare chainsaws that are after that serial number that also have a 10mm wrist pin. Please verify your pin size before ordering.

Rebuild for a friends recently rebuilt Stihl	April 12, 2019

A friend asked me to look into fixing his recently rebuilt, locked up saw. Found most likely broken clip caused problem. Read OPE blog and that led me to chose Stihl 044 MS440 cylinder kit 50mm - 12mm pin Rebuild Kit along with this meteor piston and the included caber rings. So far , so good...time will tell.
