Stihl MS460 cylinder kit January 10, 2025 Reviewer: Doug Hoskovec from Golden, CO United States   I got a cylinder rebuild kit from HL Supply. It came with the wrong size rings. I called them and they sent me the right rings. When I went to put the cylinder on, it fit on the piston, but the cylinder was the wrong one. It did not match the crankcase at all. It was too small to match the bolt holes and the 4 bolt holes were too small for the bolts to go through. When I called back and informed them of their mistake, the guy very snottily said it was the right cylinder and I must be trying to put it on the wrong saw. He obviously has no idea what he was talking about, as he never saw the cylinder or the saw. I have rebuilt nearly 100 chainsaws in the last 12 years and have never had a problem with an honest seller or been treated this way. I returned the wrong kit at my own expense and now they won't refund my money or even return the POS kit. I consider HL Supply to be dishonest scum and will never deal with these trash again. MS 460 Stihl Piston and cylinder kit June 30, 2020 Reviewer: David Kitching from Carlsbad, CA United States   Piston and cylinder kit.I know other people that have Botton them and had real good luck with them so we’ll see. Hyway Kits May 14, 2015 Reviewer: KAM from Cherry Hill, NJ United States   Getting better all the time. The rings are getting better and are fine to run in standard stock equipment. Hyway jugs are holding up well in many sever applications I have put them through. The Hot Rods have not torn one up yet. Some have been in service for two years plus.
