Rings need to be filed to even fit in the cylinder, compression release boss isn’t drilled, base gasket mounting surface is rough cast yet. Buy this kit and the intake clamp for a Stihl H187 Wednesday, April 17, 2019 Reviewer: Matt Brown from Cleveland, Tn   I'm glad I chose this cylinder and piston for my Husqvarna 350. I have the earlier 49cc model. Mine ran lean and scored the cylinder and piston due to someone deciding to switch to a plastic intake clamp to save money. I read about this issue online. I like oem parts but didn't want to buy their product since they chose to do the plastic clamp. I cut the plastic clamp off and ordered Stihl part number H18700 here at hls and highly recommend it if you order this kit. If you have a running saw, buy the metal clamp and switch it now. I got the kit today and switched everything and it fired right up with 6-8 pulls and I completely drained the tank, replaced the fuel line and filter. I'm impressed already and I hope it runs well for a long time just like it does now. First saw I've ever taken apart and it's been sitting a couple years, thought it was time to do something about it and it really paid off Was this review helpful to you?
