Stihl 044 cylinder piston kit January 22, 2026 Reviewer: Domonic southerland from Blue Ridge, GA United States   Everything looked good when I received my kit it didnt come with the gaskets or crank seals tried get what I paid for and they wanted my order number it was supplied and then they wanted pics of what I have no idea pic of empty box I don't have time to do that back and forth and instead of going threw all the big run around so I had to order them from somewhere else it's not like I was saying I didn't receive my order in the box was one head gasket piston rings cylinder head 12mm wrists pin bearing double port muffler ngk plug I do a lot of Stihl saws I order lots of piston and rings so i was getting ready to order sae kit for a 028 Av and another sawi have until I didn't receive what i paid for so i empty my cart and I'm going to close account and not do business with again Was this review helpful to you?

MS440 Jug July 9, 2023 Reviewer: Danny Narwold from Greensburg, IN United States   After receiving the parts, I noticed that the sealing surface of the jug, where it would meet the crankcase has a huge machining step in it, making sealing impossible. 044 big bore kit April 15, 2023 Reviewer: James Fetterly from Rochester, WA United States   I was surprised to find three welds in the combustion chamber edge that stuck up about 0.050! I got bought a burr and ground them down. I am waiting for a new pump to test the seals/case as my old pump gave up the ghost! I will know more after I have it running.
