MS 290 starter cover September 15, 2018 Reviewer: Thomas Cole from Chardon, OH   This product worked as a replacement, but it required a lot of extra effort to install. Out of the box the spring had to be replaced in its retaining end. After I installed the part, the handle pulled out of the pull rope knot as it was too small. A 3-minute job turned into a 30-minute challenge. That being said, the product seems to work well after install and is cheaper than one from Stihl. Was this review helpful to you?
