🛠️ Mechanic's Tip:
A sharp chain is a safe chain. If you see fine sawdust instead of large wood chips, your chain is dull. When filing, always push the file from the inside of the cutter to the outside using smooth, even strokes. For 3/8" pitch chain, maintain a 30-degree angle. These files are industrial-strength, but they will last longer if you keep them clean with a file card and store them in a dry place to prevent surface rust.
