TS400 coil February 19, 2014 Reviewer: Gene Turner from West Bend, WI United States   Ordering the coil was very easy. It arrived in a couple days even though I sent it snail mail. The Stihl three bolt coil has a little brass insert in it for one of the bolts. Your coil came without it so I removed and put it in the new one. The kill wire that came with it has the same connectors on both ends of the wire. The Stihl has one flat and one round connector on it. So I used the old wire. The ignition wire is stiffer on your coil but I was able to get it into the clips. The good news is the Stihl replacement coil is $160 and your coil is $65. The couple changes I had to make easily makes up for the $100 difference. Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback. The saw is running and everybody is happy. Geno Was this review helpful to you?
