Oregon Pro Spur® Sprocket - 38145XSF
The Oregon 38145XSF Pro Spur® Sprocket is a rugged, one-piece drive solution designed for Stihl's most popular mid-range chainsaws. Engineered for dependability and high wear resistance, this cold-forged sprocket provides a direct and reliable connection between your engine's clutch and the saw chain.
Cold-Forged Durability
Unlike standard cast sprockets, the Oregon Pro Spur® undergoes a specialized cold-forged manufacturing process. This significantly increases the density and strength of the steel, resulting in a drive gear that resists cupping and tooth wear even under the high-torque demands of professional cutting.

🛠️ Mechanic's Tip:
Spur sprockets should be inspected for wear every time you change your chain. For optimum performance and to prevent premature chain breakage, Oregon recommends replacing your spur sprocket every two chain loops. Running a new chain on a worn (cupped) sprocket will cause the chain to "jump" and can damage the drive links. Ensure your needle bearing is clean and greased during installation.
