Description

Oregon 91VXL VersaCut™ 18" Saw Chain - 3/8" LP x .050" (62 DL)

The Oregon 91VXL062G VersaCut™ is a high-performance saw chain designed for professionals who demand more from their lightweight saws. Featuring a 33% longer cutter top-plate than standard chains, it offers a significantly extended cutting life between sharpenings. This low-vibration, semi-chisel chain provides an aggressive edge that remains forgiving during sharpening, making it a favorite for arborists and orchardists.

Advanced Oiling & Durability

This chain is engineered with the Lubri-Tec™ automatic oiling system, which delivers oil directly to high-friction areas to reduce wear and downtime. The cutters are blued for superior corrosion protection, while the chrome-plated outer layer and induction-hardened rivets ensure the chain stays sharp and requires fewer tension adjustments during the workday.

🛠️ Mechanic's Tip:
The 91VXL series is excellent for arborists because the semi-chisel cutter holds its edge longer when cutting through dirty bark or in contact with the ground. Use depth gauge filing indicators on the top-plate to ensure consistent sharpening angles. For daily maintenance, use a 5/32" round file and keep your chain tensioned correctly to prevent premature wear on your drive links.
