4 of 5 Mounting Bolts are Too Small December 17, 2020

Heads of Stihl engine mounting bolts are 11mm in diameter. New ones that come with this kit have smaller heads that span the ends of the metal inserts but do not reach beyond them far enough to grip the saw body. Engine will not seat securely. Threads are different, so you can't use the original bolts.
I used 11mm washers with the new bolts. That works fine.
The T25 driver that came with my saw is half a hair too large to fit the new bolts. My hardware-store T25 driver fit perfectly.
I am delighted with this kit. The alternative was to spend hundreds of dollars on a new saw.
