⚠️ Installation Tip:
When installing, ensure the starter pawls on the flywheel engage correctly with the rope drum. Before tightening the mounting screws completely, give the starter rope a short, gentle pull to seat the assembly perfectly against the crankcase.

If your starter rope is fraying frequently, check the starter rope guide bushing for sharp edges. Periodically cleaning out wood chips and debris from the fan housing will also improve engine cooling and extend the life of the internal recoil spring.
